Cue Sports is a term referred to Pool & Snooker. It is gaining popularity at a very fast rate. Youngsters are derived towards the game very quickly & are keen to play it at higher levels.
We have some variety in so called Cue Sports.
The 2 major forms of the Sport are:
1: Pool
2: Snooker
They differentiate from each other with some rules, tables & balls.
Each cue sport has to played at a table with a cue stick with a tip hitting the balls towards the pockets of the table.
Table:
Table refers to a rectangular block made of wood and marble. The sidelines of a table are called rails. A table has 6 pockets around it , 4 of them are at the corners of the table & 2 are at the exact centre point of the longer rails. Dimensions of the table vary from game to game.

Balls:
Balls in a Pool game are what everyone aims at. The number of Balls also vary from game to game. The objective of the cue games is to put the coloured balls in the pockets by hitting them with a white ball called Cue Ball.

Cue Stick:
Cue Stick is a wooden stick which is used to drive the cue ball in a cue sport. Player aims at the balls to hit and strikes the cue ball with the stick to let the game go.
